Earlier in November, the Russian government approved a list of regions of the Far North and territories that are equated to it. These included separate parts of the republics of Altai, Buryatia, Karelia and Tyva. In addition, this list includes parts of the Khabarovsk, Perm, Krasnoyarsk and Primorsk Territories, as well as the territory of the Amur, Irkutsk, Arkhangelsk, Tyumen and Sakhalin Regions.
