Bolshoi ballerina Mariana Gomez who tried to commit suicide turned out to be pregnant REN TV found this out.
According to the TV channel, it was because of the pregnancy that the 34-year-old dancer had a falling out with her partner – he allegedly took the news about her unborn child negatively. After that, Gomez attempted suicide, but the doctors who arrived managed to save her.
Gomez's suicide attempt was reported on November 16. Now her life is out of danger.
Mariana Gomez was born in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte. In 2006, she became the first Brazilian artist to be admitted to the Bolshoi Theater troupe, and seven years later she graduated from the Russian Theater Institute with a degree in ballet teacher, specializing in ballet pedagogy. She took part in the performances Symphony of Psalms, Winter's Tale, La Bayadere, The Nutcracker and La Sylphide.
