Kaspersky Lab: fraudsters on behalf of the bank offer to invest in shares

The fraudulent scheme consists in the fact that attackers place fake resources on which they offer to gain access to the platform for investing in shares of different companies. The victim is promised that she will earn up to 50 percent per annum, and they are also lured by direct access to the US and Russian markets, or they are offered the services of a consultant to complete the first transaction.
In order to gain access to the investment platform, the user takes a test answering questions about your savings. After this, the person is asked to enter his personal data. After that, the victim can be called with a proposal to open an investment account and convince the cybercriminals to transfer money.
Earlier it was reported that cybercriminals began to use Google advertising services to steal cryptocurrency from the wallets of Russians. Experts noted that with the help of this scheme, the criminals have already managed to steal about $ 500,000.
Following the link from Google, the victim is taken to a phishing site that looks almost the same as the original resource of the crypto site. There the user is required to have a password for the account. If the user enters it, then his personal data will be in the hands of scammers.
