Mash: Russian writer Viktor Pelevin was found on Koh Samui

The whereabouts of Russian writer Viktor Pelevin have become known. Telegram-channel Mash informs about it.

Photos of a person similar to Pelevin appeared in the channel. It is said to have been found on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand. The writer spent 2017 and 2018 traveling, and on November 30, 2019, he flew from Moscow to Bangkok and never returned to Russia.

In August, The Blueprint published a fresh photograph of Pelevin. The picture was allegedly taken in 2020. An anonymous Russian biometrics company analyzed the frame and compared it with old portraits of the author published in open sources. The similarity was 75 percent.
