Virologist Chepurnov predicted the emergence of a more terrible variant of the coronavirus 
In the future, the recombination of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus may occur, as a result of which more terrible virus. This opinion was expressed by a leading researcher at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of Virology, Alexander Chepurnov, his words are quoted by the TV channel “Tsargrad”.
Chepurnov shared his concern about the development of the coronavirus pandemic and said that in the worst scenario 19 will remain forever with humanity, like the flu.
“What worries me most is that somewhere in nature there will be a recombination. And after the recombination we would not have a certain degenerate who would already be catastrophically terrible. This is just dangerous, “- said the virologist.
He also added that people will learn to live with the coronavirus, thanks to vaccination and the development of natural immunity. The scientist recalled that humanity has learned to live together with another serious disease – HIV.
Earlier, a specialist in especially dangerous infections, immunologist Vladislav Zhemchugov revealed three scenarios for the development of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. In the first scenario, the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus can find a new host, in the second case, it can disappear, and in the third scenario, it will parasitize on a person all the time.
