About the crash of the L-410 aircraft with parachutists in Tatarstan it became known on October 10. The aircraft made a hard landing six kilometers from the city of Menzelinsk. According to the updated information of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there were 23 people on board. The plane crash killed 16 people, including the crew members – aircraft commander (PIC) Mikhail Belyaev and pilot Alexander Zykov. The likely cause of the crash was the failure of one of the engines.
