In Novorossiysk, local authorities turned on warning sirens because of an impending hurricane. The corresponding notification appeared on the website of the city administration.

“The signal informs about a complex of unfavorable weather conditions predicted on the territory of Novorossiysk,” the message says. The city will keep the wind 25-30 meters per second with gusts up to 38 meters per second, a hurricane.

Residents were advised to hide in underground passages or entrances if a strong wind caught them on the street.

Earlier, residents of Moscow were promised a sharp change in the weather. According to weather forecasters, on November 20, the city dwellers will have a temperature record. Atmospheric pressure will drop to abnormally low values. At the end of the week, the height of the snow cover can reach 5-10 centimeters.
