Drug cops under torture in the basement forced Russians to confess

In Rostov-on-Don, a court sentenced three police officers to terms from 5 to 15 years for arbitrariness

Leninsky District Court of Rostov-on -Dona sentenced three former police officers who, under torture, extorted confessions of drug possession from detainees. This was reported to TASS by the joint press service of the Rostov Region Courts.

Defendants Andrei Kuraev, Maksim Serdyuchenko and Roman Khalimov have been sentenced to terms from five to 15.5 years in prison in a strict regime colony. They were found guilty of abuse of office, Serdyuchenko and Khalimov were also found guilty of drug trafficking, bribery and fraud.

The convicts were employees of the drug control department of police department No. 4 in Rostov-on-Don … They detained the Russians and, in the basement of the building, forced them to confess to possession of drugs under torture. The criminal activities of the police were stopped by the employees of the own security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. After that, they were dismissed from service for negative reasons.
