The Ministry of Health clarifies the validity period of QR codes for vaccinated and recovered

Ministry of Health: if the vaccinated has had COVID-19, the QR code after the illness is valid for six months who fell ill, will be valid for six months after the transferred COVID-19. This follows from the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia, which approves the form of the certificate of vaccination against COVID-19, it is published on the Internet portal of legal information.

According to the document, if a person was vaccinated and had COVID-19, it will be valid “The latest date of the event.” The department clarified that in case of a positive PCR test in a vaccinated person, his digital pass is canceled, and after the end of the disease, a QR code for six months about the past illness begins to work.

In addition, the document of the Ministry of Health says that a certificate of A Russian citizen can receive a vaccination against COVID-19, a past illness or contraindications upon oral request at a hospital or at the MFC. At the same time, the document on vaccination is in electronic form on the website of state services – it can also be printed.

On November 12, it became known that draft amendments were made to the State Duma regarding the use of QR codes confirming the fact of vaccination against coronavirus or postponed over the past six months of illness.

According to documents, the government has proposed making the presentation of QR codes mandatory in public places, airplanes and trains. In addition, after February 1, QR codes with a negative PCR test will be issued only to Russians with a medical withdrawal from vaccination.
