Izvestia: Deputy of the State Duma Vyborny called for tougher punishment for falsifying a driver's license
a request to increase the punishment for counterfeiting a driver's license. He suggested that the department block Internet resources selling these documents, Izvestia writes.
A deputy of the State Duma sent an appeal to the First Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia Anatoly Razinkin, in which he reported about eight Internet sites on which they illegally sell driver's license. Website owners offer Russians to pay, for example, 25 thousand rubles and receive documents in a few days. According to the politician, citizens themselves complained about this problem to him.
“I ask you to reflect your position on the need to expand the powers of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation to block the above information, as well as on the need to toughen criminal liability for a crime under Part 5 Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, “Vyborny urged.
The politician added that at the moment the legislation is” too loyal “to Russians who engage in counterfeiting and use it.
“ Fraudsters promise that a person can, without learning, just get behind the wheel and drive on the roads with this fake driver's license. Can you imagine how a real threat and increased danger such a driver carries? ” – the parliamentarian was indignant.
