The Ministry of Health of Russia approved a paper certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 and a past illness 19, contraindications or previous illness. This is reported by TASS with reference to the order of the department.
According to the agency, a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus will be generated in Russian and English no later than three days after the completion of vaccination has been entered into the system.
On November 12, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced that with the introduction of QR codes in transport and public places in Russia, a transition period will be announced, which will last until February 1, 2022. According to her, the Russian government has already submitted to the State Duma draft amendments regarding the use of QR codes. It is assumed that such measures will be in effect in the regions until June 1, 2022.
According to the new measures, Russians who have a QR code about vaccination or who have had COVID-19 will have the opportunity to attend mass events, cultural organizations, cafes and restaurants, as well as retail outlets. In addition, the bill allows people with vaccinations to be in public places.
