The 52-year-old coach of the Russian national team agreed with the words of Chorluka, who advised Karpin's wards to “add eggs” before key matches. Karpin is convinced that confident footballers will achieve more on the field and be able to lead others.
Earlier on the Komment.Show broadcast, Karpin admitted that he did not see any attempts to play football on the part of his players in the match against Croatia. He made a reservation that we are not talking about the mood: in this aspect, Karpin has no complaints about the players.
The Russian national team lost to Croatia with a minimum score in the World Cup 2022 qualifying match. Failure did not allow Karpin's team to reach the World Championship from the first place in the group. Instead, the Russians will have to fight their way to the world championship through play-offs.
