14 managers have become the winners of the Culture track of the Leaders of Russia competition They were 14 managers from four regions of Russia.
The final of the track “Culture” was held in the House of Beggrovs in St. Petersburg. 106 finalists from all over Russia took part in it.
During the evaluation day, the contestants in teams solved management cases, proposed solutions to urgent problems that cultural and educational institutions face on a daily basis. Leadership competencies of the participants were assessed by professional experts. The results of the track assessment activities were announced by Alexey Komissarov, General Director of the autonomous non-profit organization Russia – the Land of Opportunities.
“The competition was attended by those who already have managerial experience in the field of culture and education, as well as leaders from other areas who seek to prove themselves in a creative environment. One of the finalists was a participant from Cherepovets, who for 24 years has been successfully combining two professions – metallurgist and ballet master, and in two positions he leads collectives! The Kultura track unites people who love their work infinitely and devote all their strength and time to the profession. According to the test results, 14 participants from four regions of Russia became the winners of the Kultura track. Eight winners from Moscow, four winners from St. Petersburg, one winner from the Arkhangelsk region and one winner from the Oryol region. All the winners go to the superfinal of the competition, “said Alexey Komissarov.
The winners are participants from 23 to 46 years old. For the first time in the fourth season of the Leaders of Russia competition, among the winners were the spouses, these are Daria and Nikita Semenov from Moscow.
“When I worked in the historical museum, I was engaged in the development of the volunteer movement, the specificity of my project was that I created a“ bridge ”for students of humanitarian specialties, young specialists in culture. I would like to continue this professionally oriented project. The very idea of ”Leaders of Russia” is very close to me due to the fact that the competition is aimed at working with talents, “said Daria Semenova.
Also among the winners is Albert Zhalilov from St. Petersburg. He is an opera singer, soloist of the Orchestra of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition, he organizes music festivals in different regions of Russia. Albert is currently pursuing an MBA.
“I am very happy to be a winner. Perhaps this will be a good example for other artists. You need to study your country, you need to understand how culture works. Entering the stage is the culmination, the point of real creativity, but this is accompanied by a huge number of steps that lead the artist here, and a huge number of people who are working on it. It seems to me that it is important to understand the specifics of this work in order to speak with these people in the same language and understand the complexity of their work, “said Albert Zhalilov.
On the day of the development of the competition, the track mentors talked to the finalists – Rector of the Russian Institute of Theater Arts – GITIS Grigory Zaslavsky, Director of the Victory Museum Alexander Shkolnik, Director of the Russian State Library for Youth Irina Mikhnova.
Lectures and panel discussions were held for the finalists, dedicated to the development of culture and creative industries in Russia. Well-known public and cultural figures took part in the events along with the mentors. For example, Alexander Zhuravsky, deputy head of the Russian presidential administration for public projects, Pavel Prigara, director of the Manezh central exhibition hall, Boris Mashkovtsev, general director of the Soyuzmultfilm studio.
The winners will have the opportunity to work with mentors from among the leading cultural figures , apply for positions in the Ministry of Culture of Russia, regional departments, subordinate scientific and educational institutions, take part in major international cultural forums and exhibitions, and others.
