Tvil.ru: the most popular destination for weekend trips in December is Tomsk days in December. The rating of places for recreation was compiled by the service of booking accommodation for vacation Tvil.ru on its website.
It is reported that experts have studied the data of booking accommodation by tourists from December 1 to December 31, 2021 and identified the most popular of them. Thus, Tomsk took the first place in popularity, Krasnodar came in second place, and Zheleznovodsk came in third.
In addition, Russians' interest in weekend trips to Suzdal, Bakhchisarai and St. Petersburg was noted. Also among the popular destinations for short-term travel in December were Samara, Dmitrov, the Bannoe resort in Bashkortostan and Irkutsk.
According to the service statistics, on average, tourists book a vacation in December lasting from one to four nights. So, the cheapest trip to Samara will be the cheapest – the cost of accommodation in a hotel starts from a thousand rubles per night, the most expensive option is in Suzdal – 5.4 thousand rubles a day.
Earlier in November, the Russians were named the most popular destinations countries for weekend trips in winter. Thus, Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, turned out to be the most popular destination. The second line of the rating was taken by the city of the golden ring of Russia Suzdal, followed by the birthplace of Santa Claus – Veliky Ustyug.
