Earlier, Stoltenberg said that the North Atlantic Alliance is ready for any development of events related to the alleged pulling together of the Russian armed forces to the border with Ukraine.
In early November, former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin assessed the possibility of a Russian invasion in the near future. He expressed the opinion that there is no need to worry about this. At the same time, Klimkin said that in the spring Russia had brought up “a colossal amount of weapons” to the borders of Ukraine.
