French President Emmanuel Macron changed the blue color on the French flag – now it is more dark shade. The decision was made “behind closed doors”: the president did not make this idea public before its implementation, writes France Bleu.
Such a blue color, according to the French authorities, looks better, inherits the flag of the Great French Revolution, and looks more contrasting against the background of the EU flag, which often stands next to the French tricolor at official events.
Earlier it was reported that Macron intends to arrange negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the near future: the French leader wants to touch upon the issues of Belarus and Ukraine.
