The manicurist named the main mistakes in cutting nails at home

Manicurist Maddy Ruki: cutting nails before the session only adds work to the master mistakes in cutting nails, which are made at home. Her comments are quoted by The Sun.

A manicurist who has worked with British namesake Maura Higgins and Gemma Collins, among others, has compiled a list of the most common procedures that damage the nail plate. p>

First of all, she drew attention to the self-cutting of nails before a session in a beauty salon “to save the time of the master.” “I appreciate the good intentions of the clients, but in reality they only add work to me. Often the nails remain very short, and it is difficult for them to give the desired shape, ”Ruki explained.

In addition, the expert urged readers to abandon manicure scissors and shorten the length of nails exclusively with a file. “If you do use scissors, cut less than necessary and then flatten the shape with a file,” she recommended. At the same time, during the filing, Ruki advised not to make continuous movements from side to side, since this way cracks form on the nail plate. Instead, she proposed to carry out the procedure with abrupt movements in one direction.

The specialist also described the harm from inept cuticle handling. “The cuticle protects you from infections. If it is cut off incorrectly and bleeding opens, bacteria can easily enter your body, she explained. “Plus, if you cut your cuticles frequently, it will grow even faster!”

In October, 14-year-old manicure master Arulat Mukhametkali from Ekibastuz, Kazakhstan, won an international nail art competition in Sochi. The teenager became the youngest participant in the art Olympiad, in which adult manicure masters from 21 countries of the world competed. The student spent about seven hours on the performance of the competition work. He became the champion in the “Extension and Design” category.
