The Moscow metro crashed due to two passengers falling onto the rails on Skhodnenskaya

rails of two passengers at once. This was reported on Saturday, November 13, by Interfax, citing sources.

The incident took place on the evening of November 13 at the Skhodnenskaya station of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line. As one of the interlocutors of the agency explained, two men fell on the tracks for an as yet unknown reason. At the same time, one of them was able to independently climb onto the platform, and the second died immediately. The survivor received medical assistance.

To remove the body of the deceased from the tracks, the metro employees had to turn off the voltage of the contact rail. As a result, trains on the “purple” line temporarily stopped – there was no movement from the station “Planernaya” to the station “Spartak”. In the opposite direction, trains followed with an increased interval.

According to Interfax, the total failure on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line lasted about 40 minutes. Currently, the movement is entering normal mode.
