Danilko explained the refusal to perform in Russia by the negative relations between Moscow and Kiev 
the condition for coming to Russia is a change of government. He spoke about the reasons for the cancellation of concerts in Moscow and throughout the country in an interview with News.ru.
As the singer admitted, the situation with the performances of Ukrainian artists in Russia is always discussed in a negative context. “I’m waiting for this to end: when the coronavirus ends, when these terrible relations between countries are resolved, when the government changes,” Danilko explained.
At the same time, the artist did not specify which country's government he meant. Among other things, Danilko clarified that he was forced to refuse offers to perform in Russia due to financial inexpediency – according to the singer, the trip is expensive for a large team.
Another reason not to come to Russia with concerts Danilko called health problems and great employment. The artist explained that he is a member of the jury for the second season of the TV show “Mask” on the channel “Ukraine”, performs with his team “Serdyuchka and BAND” and records new songs.
Earlier, in October, Danilko commented on the decision to attract to the responsibility of the TV channel “Muz-TV” for gay propaganda. He believes that bloggers and artists who disguised themselves as women at the channel's awards tried to shock the audience. At the same time, the singer was surprised that they are trying to ban such things, adding that he does not see anything reprehensible in this.
