Sturgeon breeder Novikov urged to buy frozen caviar from Kamchatka, Sakhalin and Primorye 
President of the Union of Sturgeon Breeders Alexander Novikov told how to choose the right caviar. The cost of this product will not increase on the eve of the New Year, the expert said in an interview with Sputnik radio.
Russians who decided to purchase caviar for future use were advised by the expert to choose a product frozen at the production site. At the same time, do not freeze it yourself, since the quality of the delicacy will noticeably deteriorate. The specialist also gave other advice on the choice of caviar.
“The frozen caviar, which is offered for sale, is made using shock freezing at the fishing site, this allows you to preserve its quality as much as possible. This is a natural product, it does not contain preservatives, only salt, and can be stored for 3-5 months in the freezer. It is better to choose products where the place of manufacture is indicated – Kamchatka, Sakhalin, Primorye, and not just bulk products in plastic jars, ”Novikov called.
