Court ends long-term custody of Britney Spears

The court terminated the custody of the singer Britney Spears, the decision takes effect immediately This was reported by TMZ, which broadcasts online from the courtroom.

According to the newspaper, the decision to revoke the 13-year guardianship is effective immediately. “Britney's attorney Matthew Rosengart just arrived at the courthouse … he smiled broadly and was greeted with applause by Britney supporters,” the report said.

Earlier in November, Britney Spears accused her mother, Lynn Spears, of that for 13 years was under the tutelage of Jamie Spears' father. According to the pop star, her father was “not smart enough” to come up with a custody plan himself.

On September 30, it became known that a US court suspended Jamie Spears, the celebrity's father, from custody of her. The judge also ruled to appoint a temporary trustee for the woman.

Britney Spears was under the care of her father for about 13 years. During this time, the money earned by the singer was under the control of Jamie Spears. He also made all the decisions in her life – from financial matters to creativity, as well as personal meetings. Later, he was removed from making decisions related to the artist's personal life, but retained control over her property.
