The former Afghan vice president said that the Taliban are holding military personnel in prisons
Militants of the radical Taliban ( banned in Russian terrorist organization ), who seized power in Afghanistan, are holding army servicemen in prisons. This was stated by the former vice-president of the republic Amrullah Saleh on Twitter.
The politician caught the Taliban in a lie about the detention of hundreds of Islamic State militants ( IS, a terrorist organization banned in Russia ). He said that the prisons contain servicemen of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANSOB), human rights defenders and Afghans who disagree with the Taliban regime. Saleh also stressed that the militants still have not allowed journalists to visit correctional facilities.
Earlier, the representative of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (FNSA) Ali Maisama Nazari said that the Taliban maintain close contacts with terrorists from the Islamic State “(IS) and Al-Qaeda ( both organizations are recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia ). According to him, the Taliban's cooperation with international terrorism is inseparable, and the militants support and strengthen these groups every day.
