The attack victim's lawyer, Matt Manning, said that five more people were injured that day by schoolchildren wearing KKK suits. At the same time, the identity of either the victims or the hooligans has not yet been revealed. However, the human rights activist called the incident terrorism.

“This is not an accident. This is not child's play. This is not hazing or school jokes. Hooligans can throw an egg at someone's house, instead of dressing up in a KKK and hitting a person with a shocker, ”the lawyer said. He noted that the Woodsboro school, where both the attackers and their victims study, must provide an explanation for the “disgusting, unjustified and unforgivable” incident.

In response, the school administration said that it could not monitor the behavior of students and be responsible for it when they are off campus. However, the headmaster had a conversation with the guilty students and their parents. The Woodsboro police have not yet reported the capture of the hooligans, but have launched an official investigation.

The Ku Klux Klan is a radical ultra-right organization in the United States, created immediately after the end of the Civil War in 1865. The movement professes nationalism, racism and subsequently – anti-communism, arranged lynching of activists of the abolitionist movement and defenders of black rights.
