Senator Dzhabarov denied the US data on Russia's preparations for an invasion of Ukraine
There is no evidence that Russia is preparing an invasion of Ukraine. So the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Vladimir Dzhabarov, commented on the Bloomberg article, Izvestia writes.
According to him, Russia does not send ships to the Gulf of Mexico or Alaska. “We do not invade the Gulf of Mexico, as they do in the Black Sea with their ships, make all sorts of reconnaissance flights here,” he said.
At the same time, Dzhabarov noted that these actions, in particular the dissemination in the media fake news, indicate the aggressive policy of NATO, which is led by the United States to stir up hysteria. “I think we need to calmly react to this fake news and continue to live and develop in peace,” the senator emphasized.
In addition, Dzhabarov added that Bloomberg began to frequently use fake news and disperse “just such a hysteria”.
Earlier, the publication reported that the United States had warned the European Union about the risk of Russia's “invasion” of Ukraine, without providing any evidence. For example, American officials expressed concern that Moscow may consider the possibility of a “military operation”.
