Kronshtadt will present a drone swarm control system at Dubai Airshow 2021 on display in the United Arab Emirates. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the company.
The new system will be shown at the Dubai Airshow 2021. The automated workstation (AWS) for the drone operator has received a new graphical interface. The press service noted that the automated workplace uses artificial intelligence and augmented reality technologies.
The manufacturer's representatives stressed that the automated workplace allows the operator to limit the work of the operator with the upper goal setting. The control of the flight and the interaction of drones inside the swarm will be provided by a computer. This will make Russian drones semi-autonomous.
According to Sergey Bogatikov, General Director of Kronstadt JSC, the operator only needs to set the search zone. The machine will allow drones to independently choose the order of the task, taking into account the situation.
In August, Sergei Bogatikov told RIA Novosti about an aircraft to launch a swarm of drones. According to him, the drones “Molniya” are planned to be based on the Il-76 military transport aircraft. He noted that the swarm will include reconnaissance and strike vehicles.
