In the town of Uyar, Krasnoyarsk region initiated a criminal case in connection with death of 14-year-old girl received after the hill injury. This was reported on the website of the regional Central Board of the Investigative Committee on Wednesday, February 22.
The case was initiated under part 2 of article 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death by negligence due to improper performance of their professional duties”).
According to the investigation, in mid-December while skating on an ice hill the girl fell and hit her. Then she began to complain of pain in the hip, but in Uyarsky district Central hospital appealed only on 9 February, when the malaise intensified. She was examined by a surgeon and treated, and on February 13, the victim died.
At the same time on the website Onlinepetition.ru published the petition, which the authors claim that the girl did not receive medical assistance because of the lack of coupons on reception to the doctor. It is noted that during the initial appointment, the surgeon gave the girl the diagnosis “arthritis” and recommended a follow-up appointment next week. While complained of severe pain and high fever the school was prescribed painkillers and antipyretic drugs.
Reportedly, on 10 February, the girl and her mother tried to get to the surgeon but they were denied because the record was only Monday. At the weekend the child has ached even more leg began to go numb limbs, and body temperature dropped to 35 degrees.
“Several times I called the ambulance, the paramedics put the pain, but hospitalization refused, motivating it with that on the weekend in the hospital she one will not do”, — stated in the message. It is argued that, according to preliminary findings of the pathologist, the girl had sepsis.
Currently, a petition signed by over 700 people.
