The mother of a native of Dagestan Hasan Zalibekov, who beat up a Moscow metro passenger along with two comrades in Moscow Kovaleva, recorded a video message. This was reported by the Telegram channel Baza.
The woman apologized for what happened to the victim and his mother. “I want to apologize to Roman and his mother, because I know what a son is and how dear he is to his mother. I very much condemn the behavior of the guys in the metro and the behavior of my son, “she said.
Zalibekov's mother said that her son did not strike, but this does not justify him. “I asked Roman too – if he can, let him forgive us. For our part, we are always ready to help with rehabilitation, we left our phone numbers if you need something. Once again I apologize, “the woman added.
In early October, three Dagestanis – Magamaali Khanmagomedov, Ibrahim Musalaev and Hasan Zalibekov – beat 25-year-old Kovalev in the metro. The conflict arose due to the fact that the victim stood up for a girl who asked the accused not to use obscene language. According to the investigation, Khanmagomedov and Musalaev hit the victim, and Zalibekov threatened the passengers who were nearby if they intervened in the fight.
The detainees were charged with attempted murder and the threat of violence against government officials. The head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin awarded Kovalev a medal.
