Warsaw should demand from the European Union (EU) and The United States to impose new sanctions against Belarus and Russia due to the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. This call was made by the deputy of the Polish Seimas Janusz Kowalski on his Twitter page.

“Poland cannot allow the European Union to sit down at the negotiating table with Russian President Vladimir Putin,” the politician wrote. According to him, restrictions on the sale of Russian coal to the EU countries may become one of the options for restricting Moscow.

Earlier, the interim Foreign Minister of Germany, Heiko Maas, said that the influx of migrants. He also noted that it is necessary to explain to refugees that it is not enough to pay money to get to one of the European countries illegally.

This happened against the backdrop of yet another aggravation of relations between Minsk and the West.
