Deputy of the Polish Sejm Kowalski: the US and the EU should impose sanctions against Moscow and Minsk 
Warsaw should demand from the European Union (EU) and The United States to impose new sanctions against Belarus and Russia due to the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. This call was made by the deputy of the Polish Seimas Janusz Kowalski on his Twitter page.
“Poland cannot allow the European Union to sit down at the negotiating table with Russian President Vladimir Putin,” the politician wrote. According to him, restrictions on the sale of Russian coal to the EU countries may become one of the options for restricting Moscow.
Earlier, the interim Foreign Minister of Germany, Heiko Maas, said that the influx of migrants. He also noted that it is necessary to explain to refugees that it is not enough to pay money to get to one of the European countries illegally.
On November 9, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki accused Russia and Belarus of trying to strike Poland with migration crisis. He noted that the Polish border had not been subjected to such a tough attack for 30 years.
On November 8, a crowd of illegal migrants from the Middle East gathered on the border of Belarus and Poland and tried to overcome the barriers. According to the Polish government, the number of refugees reached three to four thousand people. In Warsaw, it was clarified that the camp of illegal immigrants is guarded by Belarusian security forces.
The migration crisis on the border of Belarus and the EU countries began after President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko threatened to weaken control over the flow of refugees and drug trafficking. This happened against the backdrop of yet another aggravation of relations between Minsk and the West.
