“This way we can show that not every refugee automatically enters the EU,” the politician said. In his opinion, other European countries neighboring the EU can also help with the placement of illegal immigrants and registration of asylum for them in the European Union.
Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that illegal migrants from the Middle East ended up on the Polish-Belarusian border at the invitation of Germany and the USA. He also noted that the current crisis is only the beginning of a colossal flow of refugees. In this situation, Lukashenka blamed the withdrawal of NATO troops from Afghanistan.
On November 10, the State Border Committee of Belarus spoke about the use of military weapons by the Polish security forces against illegal immigrants trying to enter Poland from Belarusian territory. The ministry also said that at the moment in the border zone there is a refugee camp, which can accommodate more than two thousand people.
