In New Moscow, in October, the volume of supply of new buildings decreased by two percent in the primary market reached 394 thousand square meters. The indicator fell by two percent compared to September. The developer “A101” told about this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
The most noticeable reduction in the volume of supply was recorded in the business class segment – the indicator decreased by six percent. At the moment, its share in the total volume has reached 26 percent. In total, seven new buildings with 77 thousand square meters appeared on the market.
The decrease in the volume of supply in the company was explained by the rate of market saturation. “This suggests that the housing market is filling up with supply more slowly than necessary. Mortgage programs with subsidized rates, which developers brought to the market after changing the conditions for granting preferential mortgages, have maintained a good level of demand, “A101 noted.
Earlier, Avito Nedvizhimost said that over the past two years, the number of properties rented has fallen by 5 percent amid growing interest in them. Experts attributed the rise in demand to the deteriorating conditions for home buyers, including the rise in apartment prices.
