State Duma deputy criticized the bill on public power

Deputy Avksentieva: the new bill on public power infringes on the rights of governors public authority. This is reported by Ura.ru in its Telegram channel.

She noted that the new bill infringes upon the rights of governors and “makes them slaves.” So, they cannot form their own team, as well as manage the processes of formation of the executive power on the ground.

According to Avksentieva, the faction's opinions were divided. Some believe that the text of the law will be changed, while others believe that the bill needs to be rewritten in full. “I personally cannot support such a text of the bill,” the deputy stressed.

Earlier, the government supported the bill on regional power, which defines the powers of the subjects, and also removes the ban for governors to be elected for more than two terms in a row.

The draft law “On general principles of the organization of public power in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation” was submitted to the State Duma by the head of the Federation Council committee on constitutional legislation, Andrei Klishas, ​​and deputy Pavel Krasheninnikov.
