The Russians were reminded of the rules for entering India

ATOR: vaccinated Russians are exempt from a seven-day quarantine upon entering India

Vaccinated Russians can visit India without having to undergo quarantine upon arrival. The rules of entry into the country were reminded by experts of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

Since November 9, India has included Russia in the list of countries of category “A” with which the state has an agreement on the mutual recognition of vaccines – this means that domestic tourists Sputnik V vaccinated are exempted from mandatory quarantine upon arrival.

However, travelers are required to take the PCR test no more than 72 hours before the trip and upload the results along with the vaccination certificate to the electronic questionnaire Air Suvidha. Unvaccinated passengers will be required to undergo a seven-day quarantine upon arrival in India and submit another paid test for coronavirus at the airport. Also, tourists are advised to install the Aarogya Setu mobile application.

It is noted that India is already issuing tourist visas to Russians – it is possible to arrive in the country using them, as well as any other type of document, starting from November 15. So, in November, the cost of a ticket from Moscow to Delhi and back from Aeroflot starts from 33 thousand rubles for one tourist (luggage is included). From October 4, the frequency of flights between the two capitals is 4 times a week from each city, Moscow – Goa, St. Petersburg – Goa and St. Petersburg – Delhi – once a week from each side.

9 November, Russia resumed full-scale regular flights with ten countries – Austria, Thailand, Bahamas, Iran, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Slovenia, Tunisia and Sweden. In addition, the headquarters increased the number of flights to 12 countries, including Bulgaria, Albania, Hungary, Venezuela, Greece, Spain, Germany, Malta, Italy, Maldives, France and Macedonia.
