Rusnano's revenue for the nine months of 2021 increased 5.9 times, to 22.2 billion rubles

“For nine months of 2021 increased almost six times compared to the same period in 2020 and reached 22.2 billion rubles. This was reported by the company's press service.

According to financial statements in accordance with Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), Rusnano's revenue increased 5.9 times, and gross profit – 5.3 times to 15, 3 billion rubles. Net profit amounted to 2.9 billion rubles, and management costs were reduced by one billion rubles. The press service noted that high financial results are due, among other things, to investment income from wind generation projects. The company plans to further develop programs related to sustainable development and renewable energy sources.

At the same time, the press service emphasized the negative impact of debt obligations accumulated until 2021. “Accrued interest expenses for the nine months of 2021 amounted to 11.5 billion rubles. The strategic goal of management for the coming months is to reduce the level of debt burden formed by the beginning of 2021, ”said Maxim Sakharov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Economics and Finance of Rusnano Management Company. Until 2021, the CEO of Rusnano was Anatoly Chubais, who left the company in December 2020.

Anatoly Chubais has been the head of Rusnano since 2011. After the government approved his resignation, he was appointed to the post of the president's special representative for relations with international organizations. Sergei Kulikov, who was proposed to be appointed by President Vladimir Putin, became the new chairman of the company's board for five years.
