According to him, the Criminal Investigation officers managed to get on the trail of a large criminal group. On November 9, the suspects were detained at various addresses, including on the Pulkovskoye highway in the Pushkin district of the city. While some security officials moved to the apartment where the criminal was hiding, others remained on the street.
According to the source, at the same time one of the main suspects was sitting in the car in the courtyard of the house. “When he saw the Russian Guards, he began to break through and knocked down a SOBR officer, and then disappeared,” the source told Lenta.ru.
The incident became known on November 9. The offender in Fiat Ducato ran over a SOBR fighter who blocked his path and fled. The police officer died on the spot from his injuries. Less than an hour later, the driver was detained. The deceased Lieutenant Colonel Zakharov will be posthumously presented with an award for courage.
