Actor Dean Stockwell, famous for the TV series “Quantum Leap,” has died

Stockwell died at home at the age of 85. Death occurred on November 7 from natural causes.
Dean Stockwell was born in March 1936 in North Hollywood, California. He first appeared on the big screen at the age of seven and almost immediately began to play the leading roles. In 1945, he starred in the musical Raise Anchors with Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly. Unlike many child stars, Stockwell was able to successfully pursue his career. In 1959 and 1962, his acting in the films “Violence” and “The Long Day Leaves into Night” won prizes at the Cannes Film Festival. In the 1970s, he began to appear on television a lot.
Stockwell is best known for the fantastic series “Quantum Leap”. For the role of Albert “Al” Kalavichi in the show, he was repeatedly nominated for the Golden Globe and Emmy Awards. In 1992, the artist received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition, Stockwell starred in Wim Wenders' film Paris, Texas, as well as David Lynch's Dune and Blue Velvet.
