Ministry of Internal Affairs: the culprit of the death of the SOBR fighter was detained in Murino, his identity is being established (SOBR) Russian Guard during a special operation in St. Petersburg. During the implementation of the “Interception” plan, introduced after the driver of the car knocked down and ran over a special forces soldier, the suspect was caught less than an hour after the emergency. The police blocked a car with a criminal at a gas station in Murino, Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region.
The driver was taken to the police, his identity is being established.
Earlier on November 9, it was reported that in St. Petersburg during a special operation to detain telephone scammers killed an employee of the special rapid response unit (SOBR). The incident occurred on the morning of November 9 on the Pulkovskoe highway in the Pushkin district of the city. The special operation was attended by employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard. They carried out the arrest of suspected telephone fraud. One of them was driving a Fiat Ducato – he hit and ran over a SOBR fighter. The security officer died on the spot from his injuries. The offender escaped.
Telephone scammers were engaged in deceiving citizens under the pretext of helping relatives in trouble, for example, in an accident.
