Putin signed a decree approving the foundations of state policy in the field of strategic planning
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, November 8, signed foundations of state policy in the field of strategic planning in the country. The document was published on the official portal of legal information.
So, we are talking about a set of measures aimed at determining, taking into account national interests, long-term goals of socio-economic development and ensuring national security, strategic national priorities, as well as predicting possible risks and threats.
The goals of state policy include, in particular, the creation of conditions for the long-term sustainable development of Russia, the organization of interaction between the authorities, the formation of a strategic planning system, ensuring the efficient use of resources and increasing the efficiency of state macroeconomic policy, as well as the formation of guidelines for investors when making long-term investment decisions.
On May 27, it was reported that the Russian government had approved a new system for managing state programs. For each state program, a list of socially significant indicators related to national development goals will be created in order to better understand how its implementation affects the life of the population and how effectively the activities are being carried out.
