The doctors managed to safely cut off the tail. As it turned out, the ball at its end consisted of fat and fetal connective tissue. The report indicates that the scion was a rare congenital anomaly, the nature of which is poorly understood. Scientists know about 40 such cases, the first of which dates back to the 19th century.
Earlier it was reported that a child with three penises was born in Iraq – this is a unique anomaly, first recorded in the history of medicine. Since the genitals were not fully formed, the doctors decided to remove them.
