Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Ministry of construction and housing and communal services of the Russian Federation jointly with the Moscow government to prepare a Federal law that will give the opportunity to implement an ambitious program to resettle people from dilapidated housing, told RIA real Estate Minister of construction, Mikhail Men.
“We will assist the city government in developing this bill,” he said.
Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Tuesday at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the city authorities are ready to develop the law for the new program of demolition of dilapidated five-story building. He noted that he sees financial opportunities Moscow has to run the program.
Now in Moscow, completes the program of demolition of dilapidated five-story building, involving the demolition 1722 buildings of the first period of industrial housing (1959-1966 years) with a total area of 6.3 million square meters. Only the capital left to carry 71 five-storey building, the program is scheduled for completion in 2017-2018.
According to the Metropolitan authorities, in a new programme of demolition may be included in the order of 25 million square metres of dilapidated housing in which they live 1.6 million people.
