MOSCOW, February 23. /TASS/. The plane with the body of the permanent representative of Russia to the UN Vitaly Churkin has landed in the capital airport Sheremetyevo. The Russian diplomat died in the USA on 20 February, the day before your 65th birthday.
On Wednesday, Churkin said goodbye to the staff of the permanent mission in new York, diplomats and staff of the UN Secretariat.
In Moscow, a memorial service will be held on February 24. “The ceremony of farewell to the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vitaly Churkin will be held February 24 at 10:30 in the Great hall mourning CDB YAC President (street of Marshal Timoshenko, 25)”, – informed the Russian dipvedomstva. Diplomat will be buried on Troekurov cemetery.
