“On November 7, four aircraft engines and blades were removed, and the area of ​​the crash was sanitized on an area of ​​200 square meters. Today, work is planned to remove the remaining fragments of the An-12, “the Irkutsk region authorities said in a statement.

It is noted that after the removal of the remaining aircraft fragments, the Ministry of Forestry of the Irkutsk Region will reclaim the soil at the site of the plane crash.

An-12 plane crashed on November 3 near the Pivovarikha settlement near Irkutsk. He carried out a cargo flight on the Keperveem – Yakutsk – Irkutsk route. As a result of the emergency, all nine people on board were killed – citizens of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

Later, experts found both black boxes at the crash site. According to preliminary information, freezing rain became the cause of the An-12 crash in the Irkutsk region. Rescuers managed to find the bodies of all those killed at the crash site.
