In Russia, 39,400 new cases of coronavirus were detected per day 
Over the past day, 39,400 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia. Thus, the total number of infections in the country since the beginning of the pandemic was 8 834 495. This was reported on the website of the headquarters for infection control on Monday, November 8.

In the afternoon previously, 39,165 cases of infection were recorded in the country.
Most of the new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Moscow (4982), the Moscow region (3429) and St. Petersburg (2597). Least of all – in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (18 cases), the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (18 cases) and the Magadan Region (30 cases).
1,190 patients with COVID-19 died per day. In total, 248,004 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic.
The daily recovery rate was 25,582, the total – 7,587,560.
As of November 5, the herd immunity level reached 48 percent. 60,004,358 people have been vaccinated with one component of the coronavirus vaccine, and 57,256,745 people have been vaccinated with two.
