Dr. Myasnikov spoke about the dangerous changes in moles on the body

Doctor Myasnikov recommended taking pictures of birthmarks so as not to miss dangerous changes

Doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov called on some citizens to photograph their birthmarks. This is necessary in order not to miss dangerous external changes, the physician emphasized for the Russia 1 TV channel, which was broadcast on YouTube.

The doctor said that the recommendation is especially relevant for people who have more than five moles on their bodies. According to him, a large number of moles increases the risk of developing melanoma and requires maintaining such a “skin passport”. To recognize changes, Myasnikov advised resorting to a special system “AKORD”, where “A” is asymmetry, “K” is the roughness of the edges, “O” is the color, “P” is the size and “D” is the dynamics.

In addition, the thickness of the mole should be taken into account. If it already seems to rise above the skin, and the thickness is more than a millimeter, Myasnikov recommended to see a doctor. Also, in order to avoid the development of melanoma, it is better to abandon the tanning bed, since the high level of ultraviolet radiation is dangerous for humans.

Earlier, Myasnikov said that Russians often make mistakes when taking painkillers. In particular, they often resort to uncontrolled intake of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and do not think about further consequences. According to Myasnikov, taking such drugs leads to stomach ulcers and bleeding.
