The pediatrician named ways to prepare the child for school after the holidays

Doctor Solomakh: help your child to get into a working mood after school holidays No. 2 in Sevastopol Ekaterina Solomakha named ways to prepare a child for school after the holidays and tune in to a working mood. Her words are quoted by the radio “Sputnik in Crimea”.

The specialist advised on the last two weekends before school to put the children to bed no later than ten o'clock in the evening and wake them up as early as they get to school, feed them a hearty breakfast, paying attention to the presence of vegetables, fruits and nuts in the diet. She reminded of the need not to overeat at night in order to have a full morning meal.

According to the pediatrician, these days the child should not overload himself with gadgets, it is better to replace such a pastime with walks, but at the same time not to be in close contact with people. If a child is unwell in the morning of the first working day, it is better for him not to attend an educational institution.

“If the child has not had contact with patients with coronavirus infection and has no fever, then there is no burdened epidemiological anamnesis, but only a cough and runny nose, then you can go to the emergency room in the children's clinic – in this case it is inappropriate to call a doctor at home. But it’s definitely not worth going to school, ”Solomakha emphasized.

She added that in the fall, in the ARVI season, children should be vaccinated against influenza and strengthen their immunity with physical activity and nutrition. The doctor recalled that children began to tolerate the coronavirus worse, so she called for the protection of minors.

Earlier in Tuva, it was proposed to introduce antique passports for schoolchildren. Entrance to general education institutions will be allowed only by QR codes. The proposal to introduce antique passports was announced at the operational headquarters to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Tuva under the chairmanship of the acting deputy chairman of the regional government Alexander Brokert.
