The Federation Council approved on Wednesday a law on indefinite free privatization of housing in Russia for all categories of citizens.
Initially it was assumed that privatization will be extended only until 2020 and will concern only separate categories of citizens of the Crimean people, of persons subject to resettlement from emergency houses, children-orphans. Free privatization of housing should have been completed in Russia on March 1, 2017.
In the current version of the law is free to privatize housing can all Russians.
The law goes to the President for signature.
