The UAE will refuse the visa on arrival part of the Russian family tourists
The authorities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will not issue a visa on arrival to Russian tourists with children inscribed in the passport of parents. This is the official Facebook page of the Consulate General of Russia in Dubai.
Diplomats stressed that all Russian citizens who want to get the permission to enter the UAE must have their own passport.
In addition, according to local law, every foreigner in the territory of that state is obliged to have health insurance, warned the Consulate General. So the diplomats called on the Russians to issue the insurance policy before the trip to the Emirates.
Representatives of the Consulate General also reminded that the decision of the UAE government about granting the Russians a free visa on arrival valid for up to 30 days entered into force 1 Feb. Citizens of Russia have the right to extend the entry permit for the same period, only on a paid basis.
According to the portal “Rambler/Travel”, two Russian families whose children had their own passports, has refused to visit the Emirates.
The Prime Minister of the UAE Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum in late January approved a decree of the government about visas for Russians.
