Representatives of the organization “the Christian state of Holy Russia” have nothing to do with state Duma Deputy Natalya Poklonskaya. The head of Association Alexander Kalinin told the National news service (NSN) on Monday, February 13.
“She deals with the Prosecutor’s line as it should. We have our own movement, she does not understand it as we do not tend it. We do not support each other, we’re a little bit different fronts,” said Kalinin.
According to him, Poklonskaya difficult struggle with the film “Matilda” directed by Alexei Uchitel, because the MP does not have broad support.
“Here it is, just one and we are many. She was forced to write these statements, she’s a civil servant. If some of us go to jail, then so many citizens will rise against this, we did not threaten anyone! We have in letters, there is no threat,” — said the leader of the movement.
10 Feb Poklonskaya sent to the Directorate of the centre for combating extremism of the MIA of Russia a request for verification of the organization “Christian state Holy Russia.” She noted that members of the “Christian state” associated with the applicants in her name, however, according to her, the activists of the organization “irrelevant” to 20 thousand signatures collected against the movie “Matilda”.
January 31 activists of the “Christian state” sent to the Russian cinema of the letter with the requirement to refuse to hire “Matilda”. The messages included threats of arson. In the Russian Orthodox Church has condemned these statements and denied involvement in the Church organization.
