The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and the head of EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini in a telephone conversation discussed the worsening situation in Eastern Ukraine and other issues. About it reports a press-service of the Russian Ministry of foreign Affairs.
“During the meeting the sides discussed the situation in Libya, the problems of the Syrian settlement, the deterioration of the situation in Ukraine, the situation in the Balkans”, — stated in the message.
It is noted that Mogherini and Lavrov agreed to hold a meeting on the sidelines of one of the upcoming events for collaboration on various issues and the state of Affairs in relations between Russia and the EU.
Earlier Federica Mogherini called on parties to Ukrainian conflict to immediately cease fire in the Donbass.
