The border zone regime will be introduced along the Russian-Belarusian border. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of the Federal security service of Russia (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov. This is reported by the Rambler/news with a link to the official portal of legal information.
According to the documents, on the territories of Bryansk, Smolensk and Pskov regions should be equipped the place of passage of people and vehicles in the border zone. In addition, the decree prescribes to determine the time of passage and to install warning signs. Such measures are the Ministry attributed the creation of the necessary conditions for the protection of the state border of Russia. Monitor the implementation of the documents would be the Federal border service.
In Belarus, the decree on visa-free visiting the country for five days for citizens of 80 countries will come into force on 9 February. The list of States that are subject to the new rules, the United States, all member countries of the European Union, Japan and Brazil.
The border between Russia and Belarus formally exists and can be passed without checks, so the citizens of third countries which need a visa to Russia, have the opportunity to enter the Russian territory without going through bureaucratic procedures. In this regard, informed the FSB started to check the documents of all arriving in Moscow airports from Minsk.
