The police and FSB in the Sverdlovsk region carried out searches in the premises of the “Church of Scientology” on Belinsky street in Yekaterinburg, reports “Interfax”.
The searches took place on 1 February in the framework of the case under part 2 of article 171 of the criminal code (illegal business).
As it became known to law enforcement officials, main activity of the organization is to conduct paid trainings and seminars, but not for the implementation of educational activities.
According to preliminary data, the income of the organization amounted to tens of millions of rubles.
